I'm coming waltzing back and moving into your head
Not sure when this was taken, but my love and I <3 he holds the key to my soul...
I finished reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets a couple nights ago.. I loved it!! It was wonderful.. I definitely need a HP break though, so I just started my next venture.. "City of Bones" by Cassandra Clare. So far it is excellent, and someone I work with told me it was a great read.. and she has very similiar book taste to me so I am very excited!! I love the whole fantasy literature... If I am reading, I want to be swept away from reality into a world that I can't experience first hand. I want something different from the every day existence of normal people. I want to read about vampires, wizards, and werewolves. I want to read about magical places and faeries.. I say faeries because I saw in the back of City of Bones, there was a recommended series on the "darker side" of faeries.. I think that will be one of my ventures. Very excited :-D I feel so nerdy, but I can not help the feeling a good book gives me.. Nothing beats it.... :-)

Our fingerprints dont fade from the lives we touch..
Today, one little girl touched my heart. Chelsea and I were out for the afternoon with her daughter, Madison. We went to Friendies and Fort Williams and it was absolutely amazing.
Madison reminded me of a few important things though. She reminded me of the beauty of being young and having a big imagination... How I can not hold back my laughter when I see little kids laughing and being silly.. and my love for encouraging the public singing of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in the middle of lunch :-). I wish I was still that creative and still could refer to myself as various cartoon characters.. Scooby Doo in particular (she actually shares my taste in the cartoon characters of choice ;-) haha)..
Kids are just so innocent.. We were walking around Fort Williams and she was holding on to the back of my sweater and we were making pretend we were on a roller coaster.. it was just a blast. I had a smile on my face the entire time.
It was great to spend time with Chels. Sometimes, their are people you just click with.. no hesitations whatsoever. She is definitely that type of person for me. A great day off with great company.
I have to say, I don't think their "fingerprints" will ever leave my heart.

I've heard the grass is always greener, on the lovers side of town..
So, I love Joe Purdy. He's a pretty awesome musician, kind of a folksie bluesy kind of guy. But you should all take a listen.. My personal favs are Lovers side of town, I love the rain most, and Mary May :-) very excellent tunes.
In another note, I have been bored in waiting for class and have been on bretts Macbook and have been using the photobooth feature. Here is my little photo session today so you can giggle with me HAHAHA it was a blast, im going to do it again later i think ahaha. I know.. im such a cool kid sometimes, huh! ;-)

It rains in your bedroom, everything is wrong... It rains where you're here and it rains when you're gone..
I have been a huge bookworm lately and I love it. I am a particular fan of fantasy type worlds where you get sucked into the story and are just literally part of another world as you read. Call me nerdy, call it what you want, but I absolutely LOVE it..
What better escape from reality is there? I am not sure I know of one.
A good book drags you in and makes you never want to stop reading. You just keep going and going because you are dying to find out what happens next. This is what makes a good writer. Its interesting, it has twists, it surprises you, and it makes you feel like you are right there, witnessing the whole thing. Oh, nothing better, nothing better! What I would do to be a part of these stories!
Without having a good book to read now, I just feel a little lonely and sad; what am I supposed to do with spare time when I have no homework to work on? Or when I'm not with friends? Or when Brett is doing other stuff and I am just kind of hanging out at his house? Let me tell you, there is certainly not enough on TV to keep me entertained ALL the time, even with like a ton of channels (they are all awful for the most part).
Due to my new bookworm-ish ways, some of my entries are certainly going to be book reviews or recommendations. I hope people find it helpful in searching for their own reading material! So I will end this entry by beginning my recommendations/reviews :-)
I am starting book 2 of Harry Potter, and have several other book series I am currently working on. my top three series currently are:
Harry Potter
The Hunger Games
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
I would highly recommend all of them if you are into the fantasy gig. The Hunger games is a little different, a little more realistic.. and as brett describes it, "Post-Apocalyptic" but its a very good read and I would highly recommend it. The first few chapters are a little slow, but necessary to introduce you to the characters and build up the story surrounding the "games" and the living atmosphere? Not sure how to address it without giving it away!
Now I'm off to start Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! :-)
