Book Review......

So, I have read two books since my last post..

The Alchemist: I really enjoyed this book. its different from what I have been reading lately but it was pretty cool, it was the story about a shepherd on a journey and it was just excellent. Great story, great characters in it

The Time Traveler's Wife: I LOVED this book.. can't wait to go see the movie when it comes out in August.. It's a great love story and shows a lot of character and everything. A lot of hardships and conflicts and shows how powerful love can be. really interesting story line though..
I would totally say this is probably going to become the new "the notebook" love story.. and how ironic Rachel McAdams is in this movie too... Love her, and i think she is going to portray the wife perfectly :-) Very excited!!!

Tonight I am going to start another, but I am not sure which yet..

A girl I work with was reading this book today called Waiter Rants and I want to read it really bad, I guess its like a really hysterical account of this guy and some of the situations he has had to deal with concerning customers.. I read a couple passages today and they were SO hilarious... So, I really want to read that book as well. Brett is supposed to be scavenging and finding me his Harry Potter books so I can read those, lol :-) I know I know, i must be one of the only people ever who hasnt read the harry potter books.. im workin on it!!!...

I want to go see the new harry potter movie this weekend though, brett and i finished watching the other ones last night so im all excited for it now :-)

Work was busy today once the rain came which was good. not sure how many people we did, but I would guess 120+ which is really awesome. Should make some good tip money!! YAY!

Have to work tomorrow too but it probably wont be as busy since it is supposed to be nicer again tomorrow. not that im complaining about nice weather, its just much better for business when its rainy and gross out because people dont want to go to the places thta have outdoor decks and eat otuside so much.. :-D

im super excited for walters new location though :-) moving to 2 portland square at the end of september and reopening in mid october! YAY...

I started reading the alchemist tonight.. yay for having something to keep me entertained this summer, lol.. well, along with my online class!

I am really int his Live for the moment phase right now and like take each day a step at a time. Its weird, but its kind of helpful and theraputic in a sense.

However, I need to make more money. Ive done a terrible, terrible job at making money and saving it this summer... :-/ NOT SO GOOD

My life consists of Working, Brett, and as of about 2 weeks ago, my online Applied Business Analysis (aka. online bullshit course) .

I have no time for anything!! I had a nice shopping trip with Bridget though. that was sweet.

Going to vent for a minute. bare with me. just detoxing from a previous situation which was brought back up unneccessarily.

I just think it would be better if people let things that happened in the past to just stay in the past. Seriously, life is way too short to dwell on the past and all the mistakes or errors or problems we might have made... or had with other people. Shit happens, we all make mistakes, we are only fucking human.

Am I right? or am I under this completely false interpretation of life and how I should be living it?

Fuck it. As long as I am happy and the people Closest to me are the happiest, I really couldnt give a fuck what anyone else has to say.. I am Way too good for that shit, and way more over it. :-)

How awful is that, I feel like a god damn high schooler. This is supposed to leave after high school. i mean, seriously. What the fuck.

Twilight craze has hit and made me crazy..

So, after my last blog, i wrote that i had just watched twilight for the first time. Well, I guess you can say i got a little crazy, because after that first viewing.. first, i went and bought the movie, and then monday-Friday, i spent nearly all my free time not spent working/sleeping/other various obligations i had.. to reading. I finished all 4 books in 5 days...

Im a little bit of a nut when i read because i hate stopping and restarting things, so i usually just read continuously. I have a terrible habit of reading obsessively like that.. finishing the whole book within the first day of starting it. It was well worth it though, I loved the books. The movie was not as good as the book by far because you missed a lot of well, fairly important information that i would have wanted to know (so im glad i read them).

I also heard a few of the songs rob pattinson put on the twilight album which are incredible. I never knew he had any musical talent, so i was pleasantly surprised when i heard him and heard he was a pleasant sort of mix between joe purdy, ray lamontage, maybe even a little john mayer (his voice is a little higher than the first two, but his voice is kind of raspy and sexy like theres).

Needless to say, ive been obsessiving over the two songs "never think" and "let me sign" which are his two on the twilight soundtrack.

Anyways, on another note, i want to get my hair cut. I want bangs. I want short messy crazy tons of layering action. (okay its kind of like alice cullen from the twilight movie.. aka ashley green, but i absolutely love her hair...)

except i want it to start out a little longer, like as long as her longest strand there, and have the layering action just like that with some of the really short lengths near the top. I absolutely love love love that style and its time for a change!!

Im nervous for bangs though i havent had them since like forever... since i was i middle school. and really like that since like 1st/2nd gradeish LOL...

on another note, totally stoked for the new transformers movie coming out.. i hope we can go to the imax midnight showing tuesday night in saco! AHHHG... want to see it so bad, love love love shia labouf<3

im looking for some good books to read, so if anybody has any suggestions i am more than open for suggestions. My next book that i am aiming to tackle is angels and demons, and than after that i might finish my chronicles of narnia books, ive got like 3 or 4 left in the huge anthology of all 7 stories.

Ive been in a huge reading mood lately, i love it.. :-)

I also really want the new DMB cd, ughhh so badly. love DMB..

Im just super bored adn stalling right now so im going to stop mumbling and try reading or watching this movie on tv, currently is "the strangers"... but might be watching pirates of the carribean in blu ray when mom gets out of the shower, hoorayy :-P

I finally did it!!

So its been awhile. Nothing super entertaining has happened... Ive basically been working and seeing friends, the gym and such, you know, the basics.

I saw Jenny R. the other day which was awesome because i never get to see her anymore because our schedules get so crazy so, that was extremely nice. Seen a bit of Lindsey, Bridget, and Jess which is also pretty decent.

The other night I watched twilight for the first time.. which i made brett watch with me.. (well i watched it at his house anyways lol). I finally think i understand the twilight craze thing now which is insane because i always thought all of that stuff was crazy and dumb... but omg it was such a cute movie i friggin love it i just want to watch it again and read the books now lol...

Ive been tot he movies alot lately too.. mostly with brett, but I saw UP with Mandy which was a super cute yet sad disney movie actually, i was sad.. but ti was cute<3

We went to see night at the museum 2 in IMAX which was pretty sweet, there were jsut a ton of people there and some rude asshole tried to give me shit for telling him that he was sitting in bretts seat and got all oh yea well if someone is sitting there where is he.. i was just like. UM GETTING FOOD WHILE I SAVE THE SEATS.. and he was a fat bastard too. i got really pissed can you tell ;-)

We also went to see Angels and Demons which was a fabulous movie. I started reading the book today (again lol, is tarted it before but didnt get far and it was a long time ago so im starting over...) which so far is good but its still just building up to the story. The movie was excellent though, i really enjoyed it. Tom Hanks is a great Robert Langdon, totally fits the role so well.

Last night, we went to see the Hangover which could quite possibly be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.. its absolutely hilarious and i loved it SO much.. so many great moments and i totally recommend that everybody should go see it. So so so good :-)


this rainy weather lately has totally made me feel pretty exhausted lately along with lack of sleep which is not fun either lol. ive been so tired the past few days i just cant seem to get enough sleep which bothers me!! :-P

I got my nose pierced like last saturday.. I absolutely love it. It doesnt even hurt at all anymore, it isnt read or swolllen or anything.. looks like it sbeen there for awhile!! its very awesome, love it so much :-) I finally got to get a build a bear too because brett promised me since we started dating if i got my nose pierced he would get me a build a bear hahaha it was freakin awesome<3 so exciting! i love it, i love my teddy, love my boyfriend, my nose, my liiiiife!!!!<3


Old Port fest last weekend was also pretty entertaining. Just walked around wtih brett adn got some fresh lemonade and a lobster roll.. we left for awhile after we had walked around the entire place and looked at some really cool jewelry and such... definitely think i proved to myself that my jewelry is good enough to be there though :-) it was a definite confidence builder..

Anyways, yea, we left and went to get foxy and some cigars (lol) and then went back for a little bit but not for long because foxy got pretty overwhelmed!!! but it was fun i think she had a good time<3

For your consideration...

So let's see.  Ive got so many tattoo ideas and no idea which ones im actually going to seriously get, except im pretty positive about one i want.

I know i want to get two blue birds chasing each other because my grandmother gave me these two little glass blue birds that were supposed to bring you good luck.  For awhile, i used to carry one in my purse, probably close to 2 years...  so they are really special.  Two because my mom ended up giving me hers as well.

I have always loved astrology, so i really want to get some sort of tribal kind of anklet tattoo that incorporates stars but i want it to be a very smply and cute design.  kind of like the whole wavy design where you can put the stars in a line and then weave in and out... its hard to explain exactly but hopefully you gettt it!

I think a tiger would be really cool but i havent been able to find something that i really like super a lot.  I want it to be like feminine and fierce but not like really like man scary... yet not super baby tiger cute (which is what ive always been looking at)

I also want to get a hummingbird at a flower at some point because they have alwasy been kind of a big thing in my house and they are just like these crazy little small buggers that are so cute and they have some like mysterious sort of mythical meaning behind them i guess (not entirely sure about that id have to look it up to be entirely certain) but yea.  :-P

I ALSO WANT TO GET MY NOSE PIERCED I THINK but im super super nervous lol :-D

Anyways. besides my tattoo adventures because ive been really craving one lately so its been on my mind.. 

Ive been working mornings and been pretty free during the nights.  I went out fo rice cram with jess one night, hung out with linds and bridget which was fun.  linds and i watched bride wars and were like LOL OH GOD HOPE THAT ISNT US because you know weve been best friends for awhile. haha, so that was pretty funny :-)  i went to bretts last night after he got out of work and then worked this morrrning, and im spending the night again..  and working tomorrow morning.. then i have 3 days off which im happy about! :-) 

Been beading again which is super fun, expensive, but its fun and worth it. i love it.

:-) life is pretty good right now.  except this sucky weather needs to leave and bring me back some friggin suuun maaanng!!! :-P

Overall, I am really satisfied with my grades :-)

For the summer, it looks like I will be working all morning shifts mostly at Walter's, which I am cool with because I don't make tips anymore hosting at night.. But I still make tips at lunch :-D Hooray!

So, my schedule will be 11:15-2:30 (more like 2:45ish) Monday-Saturday (except for holidays, ie. memorial day)

Once summer is in full swing, it will be 11:15-3:00.

Excited to start saving money and working more, it should be a good summer.. or so I hope!! Things are looking up right now and I'm counting on things to stay that way..

I am getting pretty into the gym thing, i like the feeling i get after i leave the gym so thats really a good motivation for me.. Plus it gives me something to do when everyone else is busy adn i have spare time// have nothing else to do with myself.. LOL..

Just need to get on my bead jewelry sellingness. The day i sell my first necklace, im seriously going to spaz out hardcore lol :-) love!!!
